Sapana foundation Nepal ondersteunt talentrijke jongeren uit kansarme regio’s voor hun vervolgopleiding in Kathmandu. Dit kan een vooropleiding voor de universiteit zijn en/of een opleiding aan universiteit of hogeschool. Na hun opleiding begeleiden we ze bij het begin van hun carrière in Nepal waardoor zij zich kunnen ontwikkelen tot onafhankelijke volwassenen.

I am Nisha Saru Magar and I’m a science student at Sagarmatha Multiple College in Kathmandu. My dream is to work in healthcare, because when I was a kid I used to feel my grandma’s pain. There is still a lack of proper medical facilities in our village. Lots of people have died from small problems because of this. I want to study medicine so I can help people.

My name is Sushmita Rana Magar, and I'm from Namanta, a small village in the east of Nepal. After the irreparable loss of my brother and grandmother due to a lack of medical facilities, I dreamt of being a doctor. Still my village lacks a satisfying hospital, it takes nearly 4 hours by bus to go to town. Many people lose their loved ones because of this.

My name is Dipa Acchami and I was born in Chisapani, a small village in Tanahun district. Since I was born, my father stopped helping the family financially, which made it really difficult for my mom to afford education for me and my brother. We had to motivate ourselves. Now my dream is to study medicine to help people and make my family and my village proud.
